What are the software prerequisites?

To use DocDoku Web a simple web browser is sufficient: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome or Opera. For DocDoku Desktop you must have installed Java 6 (also called version 1.6) or superior. To install the Java environment or to check its installation follow this link.

What are the supported platforms?

DocDoku Web is supported on all systems that come with a recent browser. DocDoku Desktop is supported on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS and Linux. Actually, DocDoku Desktop just needs Java 6 to work.

What is the procedure to start using DocDoku?

Once your DocDoku account has been created, you need to join at least one workspace by creating one or asking the administrator of another to add you. After that you can use either DocDoku Desktop or DocDoku Web to start working.

How can I launch DocDoku?

To launch DocDoku Desktop click on the shortcut "Desktop" on the upper left then on the "Launch" button. After that, enter your login, password and the workspace name you wish to connect to. The first time you execute the application, a DocDoku Desktop shortcut should be created on your desktop. If you prefer to use DocDoku Web, you have to log in from the home page and the click on "My workspacesâ–Ľ" to select your workspace.

Where are my files stored?

They are stored on our system so they can be accessed from anywhere on Internet.

I can't log in on DocDoku.

User name and password are case-sensitive. Make sure your credentials are correct. For instance, if your user name is "DUPOND" and you fill "Dupond", your authentication will fail.

If you're still facing issues trying to connect, we advice you to go to "Panel Settings/Java/Security/Certificats" and delete all the user certificats delivered by DocDoku. Then, try again to run the application and don't forget to approve the digital signature.
